The silos are used for storing the produced granulate. This process lasts, depending on bulk density of granules, their size, ambient temperature and expandable polystyrene manufacturer from several hours to several dozen hours.
Silo capacity is selected depending on the size of installed equipment (foam formation machine, mould), and depending on predicted production potentiality of the factory.
